Join the Brandywine Senior Center Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 12-noon until 2:00 pm for our 2^nd Annual Fashion Show and Lunch.  Come see our seniors strut their stuff down the runway while enjoying a delicious lunch of Paprika Chicken Breast with Buttermilk Sour Cream Gravy, Key West Vegetable Blend, Roasted Red Bliss Potatoes, Cesar Salad and an assortment of homemade desserts.   All for the low cost of $7.00 per person.  We will also have door prizes!   Call (302) 798-5562 for more information.

Join us on Saturday, June 11, 2016 for Claymont Community Coalition’s annual Green Day!  There will be community agencies tabling to give information, lunch, activities for kids, shredding/recycling, and more.

This year, we will also be adding a Community Yard Sale.  Want to join?  Designated lawn spaces are $25 (feel free to bring your own table if you would like).

Historic Claymont Tour

Sites on the tour will include: Atonement United Methodist Church, Church of the Ascension, Claymont Community Center and the History Room, Claymont Stone School, Darley House, Gebhart Funeral Home, Grubb/Worth Mansion at Holy Rosary Church, Joe and Tony’s Service, Inc., the Patio at Archmere Academy and the Robinson House.

Tickets will be sold in the lobby of Claymont Community Center (3301 Green St. Claymont, DE) on the day of the event.  Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (60+), and $5 for children ages 12 and under.
