The Learning Center empowers adults and families to achieve their goals through accessible, high-quality education. From tutoring and English as a Second Language (ESL) to Adult Basic Education and GED® preparation, learners gain the skills and confidence to open new doors of opportunity and success.
Learning Center offers affordable and supportive instruction for students ages 16 and older. Daytime and evenings are available.

Programs & Courses
Adult Basic Education (ABE) & GED® Preparation
For adults who never finished high school or those looking to refresh skills for college, training, or career advancement, our ABE and GED® classes provide practical instruction in reading, writing, math, and technology.
Students also develop financial literacy, job readiness, and workplace skills, with the potential to earn Certificates of Attainment in reading, writing, and math through our partnership with Christina Adult Programs.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Our ESL classes help adults strengthen their English reading, writing, and speaking skills while also learning about civics, citizenship, workplace readiness, and financial literacy.
Students take the BEST Plus assessment to determine class placement and may be eligible for state-issued Certificates of Attainment (COA) in ESL and Citizenship through our partnership with Christina School District’s
Scholarships & Support
Inga M. Coffee GED Memorial Scholarship
The Inga M. Coffee GED Memorial Scholarship helps GED® students pay for testing fees.
This scholarship honors Inga M. Coffee, a former student who believed that understanding your worth makes anything possible.
Students must demonstrate readiness, financial need, and exemplary effort to qualify.
